LIFE 1415 Medicare Basics

We will cover each part of Medicare and what they mean as well as go over Original Medicare and Medicare Part C - Medicare Advantage. This class is designed to provide a brief overview of these topics and help clear up some myths about insurance when we reach 65.

LIFE 2154 Basic Automotive Maintenance

Safety glasses and basic shop supplies (cleaners, shop towels, etc..) will be provided.
LIFE 1970 Understanding Medicare Drug Programs

If I am taking no drugs, why do I need to pick a plan? What does that even mean? How do I do it? Is it okay to use the same plan every year? I hear about Open Enrollment, what does that mean? If you have any of these questions, this class is for you.
LIFE 2077 Medicare Advantage Plan, Long-term Care Insurance and Medigap Clarified

This class will cover Medicare Advantage Plans - Medicare Part C, Medicare Supplement Plans and Long-term Care Insurance. We will also discuss the differences between them and what might be best for you. This is the 3rd class in the Medicare series. We recommend you take the Medicare Basics and Understanding Medicare Drug Programs classes first.
LIFE 1096 Driver's Education

In-class instruction will be held in person Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM and Saturdays 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
This program is accredited by the Wyoming Department of Education and meets the basic requirements to convert a driver's permit to a license by the Wyoming Department of Transportation.
Driver's Education is broken into two components: Classroom Instruction (30hours)/in-car observation (6-hours) and 6 hours of driving evaluation. Optional simulator time is available for registered driver's education students and can be scheduled by contacting the Life Enrichment office. Communication regarding required waivers and scheduling will be sent to the email provided at registration. Attendance for all components of this program is required for the completion certificate to be issued. Completion certificates can be presented to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to complete the permit to license requirements. Check with your insurance company on the potential for insurance discounts. Students who do not successfully complete the course may be eligible for additional instruction time for a fee. Classroom Instruction: Students can enroll in the 30 hours of classroom any time after their 14th birthday. This course is appropriate for students preparing to take their permit exam or anyone who has their learner's permit. The 30-hour course will cover state driving laws, driver readiness, vehicle operation and basic maintenance. The 30 hours of classroom instruction must be in progress or fully completed before a student can begin their 6 hours of driving evaluation. 6-hours of in-car observation (3- 2-hour blocks) are completed observing a fellow student driver The observation component can be completed at any time after a student has started their classroom session.
Driving Evaluation: 6-hours of driving evaluation can be completed once the student driver has their driving permit and has completed 25 of the required 50 DMV driving hours. Proof of hour completion is provided by showing hours logged in the DMV Road Ready App. Students must provide their own licensed and insured vehicle for their in-car evaluation drives.
