Do you feel like your mind is always busy? Never calm? Does your mind cause you anxiety and worry? This class will give you the strategies to slow it down and get back into the driver's seat of the mind. Each class will focus on a particular subject of mindfulness. Each meditation will focus on an anchor to support the mind. There is great research out there about the health, emotional and spiritual benefits of meditation. Whether you are a seasoned meditator or just beginning, this class will offer something for everyone.

Learn to sculpt amazing objects like animals, birds, holiday ornaments, and more! You'll develop both 2D and 3D skills to create amazing artwork to decorate your home or give as gifts. We will work with loose wools and special felting needles. A fun class for all levels!

In-class instruction will be held in person Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM and Saturdays 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. In-car instruction scheduling will begin one week before class starts for students who have completed waivers on file. Observation times will be selected during the first hour of the first day of class.

This program is accredited by the Wyoming State Department of Education and meets the basic requirements of the Wyoming Department of Transportation: 30 classroom hours plus six hours of in-car instruction and six hours of observation (12 total hours outside of classroom hours). Optional simulator time is available for registered driver's education students and can be scheduled by contacting the Life Enrichment office. Communication regarding required waivers and in-car instruction scheduling will be via the email provided at registration. REQUIREMENTS: (1) Student must have their driving permit prior to registration. It is highly encouraged for students to have at least 10 hours of driving experience before class starts; (2) student must provide their own licensed and insured vehicle for their in-car instruction drives; (3) students under 18 must have one parent/ legal guardian attend the first ½ hour of the first class, and (4) attendance at all components of the class is required for the certificate to be issued. Discover alternative firing for pottery. We will discuss and explore raku, obvara, horse hair and sagger firing. This class meets Thursday, Friday and Saturday for two weeks. Thursday and Friday class times are 6:00PM - 9:30PM. Saturday class time is 8:00AM - 4:00PM.
