Robotics Camp

Robots aren’t just from video games and movies—they’re real-life helpers, heroes, and problem-solvers! From assisting doctors in surgery to delivering food, cleaning stores, fighting fires, and helping in rescue missions, robots are changing the world every day
In this hands-on robotics camp, students will discover how robots work from the inside out. Using science, engineering, technology, and plenty of creativity, campers will explore robot parts, solve challenges, and design and build their very own robots. Get ready to invent, experiment, and think like a real robotic engineer!
Drop off begins at 8:45 AM. Full day students please bring a lunch. No Microwaves available. Morning only students pick up at 12:00 PM.
Engineering Excitement

Grades: 5-6
Engineers are creative problem-solvers who design things that make our everyday lives easier—and way more fun! From bicycles and race cars to spaceships and roller coasters, engineering is behind many of the amazing things we use and enjoy.
In this hands-on camp, students will use the engineering design process to tackle real-world challenges both big and small. Campers will work together to brainstorm ideas, test solutions, and think outside the box while building, experimenting, and improving their designs. Along the way, we’ll explore different types of engineering and discover the many exciting careers engineers can pursue. Get ready to imagine, create, and engineer your way through the week!

NRCHA Seminar

Laramie County Community College’s Ranch Horse Team will be hosting an NRCHA Judges Seminar May 23–24, with judge, Darren Miller. This two-day educational event will provide in-depth instruction on NRCHA judging standards, scoring, and rule application, offering valuable insight for aspiring judges, competitors, and coaches. NRCHA Members seeking to learn more about judging the Reined Cow Horse
Applicants seeking to become a carded judge
Judges needing to renew or advance their status
**To become an NRCHA judge, an applicant must attend a judge’s seminar and pass the NRCHA Judge Test that is administered at the end of the seminar. To keep the NRCHA judge card, a judge must attend a seminar every 3 years.
