Ranch Horse Youth Clinic

Interested in ranch and stock horse events? This clinic series is designed for youth ages 10-18 who are eager to develop their horsemanship skills in the versatile world of ranch horse events.
Our Spring 2025 clinic will focus on Pleasure/Ranch Riding maneuvers and Trail obstacles. Participants will benefit from hands-on riding sessions, a special Judge’s Seminar, and lunch. Don’t miss this chance to enhance your skills, ride with a collegiate team, and enjoy a supportive environment!
Led by the LCCC Ranch Horse Team & 6-carded judge, Don Beard.
Riders and horses should be comfortable at the walk, trot, and lope. Competition experience is not required.
Personal horses only.
Instruction will focus on pleasure/ranch riding transitions and trail obstacles.
Judge’s seminar with lunch provided.
Day-trailer parking is available on the south side of the stall barn.
Check-in/Warm-up starts at 8:30 AM.
Horses must be up-to-date on vaccinations and show a current negative Coggins test upon arrival.
Please enter through the Southeast doors.
Horses can be tied up under the bleachers.
Clinic begins at 9:00 AM and ends no later than 2:00 PM.
**Refund Policy: Notification of cancellations must be received by April 21st (5 days prior to the event). Cancellations made on or before April 21st will be refunded in full, minus any applicable processing fees.
Cancellations received after April 21st will not be eligible for a refund.
