This hands-on class introduces the basics of hand piecing using the English paper technique and hand quilting. Students will create a sample quilt block while learning how to make a simple pattern, cut and stitch pieces, layer the quilt top, batting, and backing, and baste the layers together. Instruction will also cover quilting with a hoop using a running stitch and finishing the block with binding. No prior quilting experience is required. A list of supplies will be provided at time of registration.
