Babysitting 101

Ages: 12 - 15
This interactive course is designed to prepare young teens for safe and responsible babysitting. Students 12-15 years old will gain confidence and practical skills to care for children of all ages, with a special focus on infants and toddlers. Topics include safe feeding techniques for infants, proper diaper changing and hygiene, understanding child development stages, and simple first aid essentials every babysitter should know. Participants will also explore fun, age-appropriate activities for toddlers and preschoolers that encourage creativity and engagement. By the end of the class, students will be equipped with the knowledge and hands-on practice to provide dependable, nurturing care for children while building trust with parents.
Robotics Camp

Robots aren’t just from video games and movies—they’re real-life helpers, heroes, and problem-solvers! From assisting doctors in surgery to delivering food, cleaning stores, fighting fires, and helping in rescue missions, robots are changing the world every day
In this hands-on robotics camp, students will discover how robots work from the inside out. Using science, engineering, technology, and plenty of creativity, campers will explore robot parts, solve challenges, and design and build their very own robots. Get ready to invent, experiment, and think like a real robotic engineer!
Drop off begins at 8:45 AM. Full day students please bring a lunch. No Microwaves available. Morning only students pick up at 12:00 PM.
Engineering Excitement

Engineers are creative problem-solvers who design things that make our everyday lives easier—and way more fun! From bicycles and race cars to spaceships and roller coasters, engineering is behind many of the amazing things we use and enjoy.
In this hands-on camp, students will use the engineering design process to tackle real-world challenges both big and small. Campers will work together to brainstorm ideas, test solutions, and think outside the box while building, experimenting, and improving their designs. Along the way, we’ll explore different types of engineering and discover the many exciting careers engineers can pursue. Get ready to imagine, create, and engineer your way through the week!

Get ready to groove, sweat, and have fun with Zumba! This high-energy dance fitness class combines upbeat Latin music with easy-to-follow dance moves for a full-body workout. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or have two left feet, Zumba is for everyone-no dance experience required. You'll burn calories, improve your cardio, and tone muscles while enjoying the party atmosphere. Come join us and let the rhythm move you toward better health and fitness!
Adult Pottery

The course will include the basic rules of the game, terminology, safety on the court, equipment used, development of basic skills through drills, and game play. This class is great for students who have never played or have played for less than one year.

You have a message. You have something to say. Learn how to record and publish a new podcast. This is the overview of everything you'll need to know to start and run a new podcast. The class is taught by the host of the local entrepreneurial podcast Voices on the Wind, and longtime podcast producer. It will be harder to not start than to start after this one hour class. To make it easier, you'll also meet other locals who want to start a podcast. If you've ever thought a podcast would be fun, or perhaps good marketing for your business, this is the place for you.
