Driver's Education

In-class instruction will be held in person Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM and Saturdays 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
The driver's education course is accredited by the Wyoming Department of Education and meets the basic requirements to convert a driver's permit to a license by the Wyoming Department of Transportation. Communication regarding required waivers and scheduling will be sent to the email provided at registration. Attendance for all components of this program is required for a completion certificate to be issued. The course is broken into two segments: classroom instruction and driving evaluation/observation. Students who do not successfully complete the course may be eligible for additional instruction time for a fee. Requirements for Completion: 30 hours of Classroom Instruction: Students can enroll in the classroom instruction portion any time after their 14th birthday. This course is appropriate for students preparing to take their permit exam or anyone who has their learner's permit. This course covers topics such as state driving laws, driver readiness, vehicle operation, basic maintenance and much more. A parent/legal guardian must attend the first ½ hour to hour of the first class (for those students under 18) Optional simulator time is available for registered driver's education students and can be scheduled by contacting the Life Enrichment office. Driving Evaluation/Observation: 6 hours of driving evaluation can be completed once the student driver has their driving permit and has completed 25 of the required 50 DMV driving hours Proof of hour completion is provided by showing hours logged in the DMV Road Ready app. Classroom instruction must be in progress or fully completed before a student can begin their driving evaluation time. Students must provide their own licensed and insured vehicle for their in-car evaluation drives 6 hours of in-car observation are completed observing a fellow student driver. The observation component can be completed at any time after a student has started their classroom session
A Floral Arranging Workshop

We'll explore color theory, flower types, mechanics, and best practices for keeping your arrangements healthy. All materials are provided, including fresh florals, tools, and mechanics. You'll leave with a beautiful arrangement and the skills to create more at home!
Handmade Lace
with Pamela Hickman
Learn three traditional lace-making techniques: crocheted lace, tatting, and knot lace. Each method offers a unique approach to creating lace for items such as doilies, clothing accents, shawls, and table linens. Students will practice each technique and complete three small doilies-one in each style. Required supplies include crochet hooks (#3, 8, and 10), one ball of #10 white thread, basic tatting needles (sizes 3, 5, and 8), and large-eyed, sharp-tipped sewing needles.
The Basics of Hand Pieced Quilting

This hands-on class introduces the basics of hand piecing using the English paper technique and hand quilting. Students will create a sample quilt block while learning how to make a simple pattern, cut and stitch pieces, layer the quilt top, batting, and backing, and baste the layers together. Instruction will also cover quilting with a hoop using a running stitch and finishing the block with binding. No prior quilting experience is required. A list of supplies will be provided at time of registration.
Tarot Meditation Yoga

This class is inspired by the Tea, Tarot & Asana workshop model. Explore self-reflection and stress relief through a gentle blend of tarot, meditation, and accessible yoga. This beginner-friendly class introduces tarot as a tool for personal insight and journaling, combined with guided meditation and gentle movement designed to support relaxation and body awareness. Each session focuses on a meaningful theme, offering participants practical techniques to reduce stress, cultivate mindfulness, and reconnect with themselves. No prior yoga or tarot experience is necessary. All movement is gentle and adaptable for various ability levels.

Nativescaping Plant This Instead of That
with Nancy Loomis
Learn about native plant alternatives you can use in place of exotic plants in your landscaping. This class will focus on common gardening and landscaping native plant substitutes. No gardening experience required. Participants will receive a starter native plant list, as well as, information on where to source natives plants and seed.
