This class is designed to reduce stress, increase flexibility and strength, and improve balance. The ancient Chinese practices of Tai Chi and QiGong combine slow, deliberate moves and focused breathing. These low impact exercises include gentle movements with minimal stress on the muscles and joints. Students can expect to follow the instructor with multiple repetitions of simple Tai Chi and QiGong movements.

Hatha Yoga - LIFE 2132

This class is designed for students who have some yoga experience. In Hatha Yoga, we hold postures for 2-8 breaths before moving on to the next posture. Yoga postures vary from floor to standing and props are used to support the body and make all postures accessible to various skill levels. Sessions are 60- minutes long and include breathwork and mindfulness. Please bring your own yoga mat to class.
